Additional Support Programme (ASP) |
| |
|
| Bracknell Forest Additional Support Programme (ASP) exists to build a better future for the voluntary and community sector from Black, Minority Ethnic, Travellers and small faith communities. |
| |
|
| The Bracknell Forest ASP focuses on the needs of BME communities, small faith communities, travellers, asylum seekers and refugees in the Bracknell Forest Borough area to encourage their participation and involvement in their communities and to be part of the decision-making process. |
| |
|
| Aims and Objectives |
| • To identify community needs |
| • To ensure that the ASP is represented on the key strategic bodies and partnerships within the Borough |
| • Act as a channel of communication both within its membership and among the ASP and local and regional agencies. |
| • Promote social cohesion and to value diversity |
| • Develop the capacity and skills of its members and the communities that they represent in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help to meet their needs and to participate more fully in society. |
