Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action is a Council for Voluntary Service (CVS)
We provide:

  • Central support for voluntary and community action in Bracknell Forest Borough.

  • Local development agency which is non profit-making and independent of local and national government. This includes funding advice, volunteering recruitment and opportunities.

  • Resource centre: photocopying, laminating, seminars, meeting rooms, training facilities, newsletters, equipment hire, information etc.

Charity rate:
£20 per hour
£140 per day

Corporate rate:
£30 per hour
£200 per day

Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action Befriending Scheme with Bracknell Forest Homes are looking for Activities Support Volunteers. Volunteer helpers are needed at Bracknell Forest Homes sheltered housing schemes. You will be required to commit a small amount of time on a regular basis to go to one of the sheltered housing schemes to help with activities for the residents. Activities range from serving lunches, arts and craft work, singing or dance, board games etc. Not only will the residents be helped to have fun but as a volunteer you will spend time doing a fulfilling and rewarding role.
