BFVA Monitoring & Evaluation

The annual monitoring and evaluation of BFVA will be carried out by QA Research as an independent form of analysis of the work and infrastructure support BFVA support provides for local, voluntary and community groups across Bracknell Forest. At BFVA we have always carried out this yearly survey, and this year, more than ever, we urge our members to take part again in this evaluation. MORE>

Bracknell Forest Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB)

A new opportunity has arisen to be part of a new sub group of the focusing on Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE). The LSCB is committed to taking forward the recommendations from the interim report on CSE produced by the Deputy Children's Commissioner in November 2012. Included in the recommendations is an action for LSCBs to have a CSE strategy in place and the Bracknell Forest LSCB Executive have decided to set up a strategic sub group to develop the CSE strategy and provide strategic oversight of the work going on in the Borough to safeguard children and young people from the risks associated with CSE. This strategic group would like representation from the voluntary and community sector in view of the important contribution that the sector makes to this area of work. This position would be representing the wider sector which requires taking forward views/comments and also reporting back from the meetings. If you require any further information or want to discuss the matter, please call Chris Cowap, Partnership Development Manager at BFVA on 01344 304404.
